Parish Museum of the Assumption of Torrent Monument · Torrent, L'Horta Sud, Valencia Image of Torrent, not of the place itself. Torrent's parish museum, linked to the church of the Assumption, founded after the 13th-century Christian conquest and rebuilt and expanded between the 16th and 18th centuries after being destroyed during the Germanías revolt of 1521. It preserves liturgical ornaments from 1590 and three canvases by the painter Juan Ribalta, dated 1773, as well as a Gothic carving of the Virgin of Pópul, one of the oldest pieces in the collection.
