Visigothic necropolis of Alcàsser Nature · Alcàsser, L'Horta Sud, Valencia Image of Alcàsser, not of the place itself. The Visigothic necropolis of Alcàsser, known as the Senda de l'Horteta site, was discovered by chance in 2021 during renovation works at a school in the municipality, in the comarca of L'Horta Sud. The remains, close to those of a Roman villa, correspond to an occupation dated between the last quarter of the 6th century and the first half of the 7th century, and the excavation uncovered ceramic materials and structural evidence of the settlement. 2021 Photo: 19Tarrestnom65 (CC BY-SA 3.0) What to see and do in Alcàsser
