Festivities of Albal

Activity · Albal, L'Horta Sud, Valencia

Image of Albal, not of the place itself.

Albal's patronal festivities are held in July in honor of Santa Ana, whose main day, the 26th, closes the festive cycle with the solemn procession of the patron saint; tradition traces the origin of this devotion to the finding of an image inside the trunk of an olive tree.
