Farmhouse of San Onofre of Museros Monument · Museros, L'Horta Nord, Valencia Image of Museros, not of the place itself. Dominican building from 1471 in Museros, which served as a defensive stronghold during the Peninsular War. It functioned as a convent of Dominican friars until the 18th century. From 1811 it played a prominent role in the war, as it was the redoubt from which the townspeople defended themselves against attacks by the troops of General Suchet; the structure was left in ruins after the battle, which forced the Dominican order to abandon Museros for good.
