Main Festivities of San Roque of Museros

The Fiestas Mayores of San Roque de Museros are the patronal festival of the municipality, in the comarca of L'Horta Nord, with embolado bulls and the release of young cows, and are among the most crowded processions in the comarca. They are held around 16 August, with the 14th as bull day: they begin with an encierro (bull run) and continue with the release of several bulls from prominent breeders and the traditional embolado bull, organised by a different cattle ranch each night of the bullfighting week. The following day a recortes competition is held with recortadores from the village, and the festival closes with a mobile disco organised by the town council.
