Hermitage of el Cristo de la Sangre de Foios

A hermitage located a kilometre from the town centre of Foios, on the road to Vinalesa, amid the market gardens of L'Horta Nord. The present building, with a Neoclassical façade and rectangular floor plan, is a reconstruction dating from 1942; inside it houses a notable Christ figure by Carmel Vicent. Every 18 August the festivity is held in honour of the Most Holy Christ of the Blood, venerated in the hermitage.
