Andalusi origin of Bonrepòs i Mirambell Curiosity · Bonrepòs i Mirambell, L'Horta Nord, Valencia Image of Bonrepòs i Mirambell, not of the place itself. Bonrepòs i Mirambell is made up of two population centres that originated from two Andalusi settlements taken by Jaime I in 1237. Bonrepòs was a Muslim alquería which, after the conquest, became royal territory. Near it stood the hamlet of Mirambell, populated by Moriscos until their expulsion from the Kingdom of Valencia in 1609.
