Aqueduct of Piñel de Gátova

The Piñel aqueduct is located in the partida de Piñel, next to the road from Gátova to Altura, just over a kilometre from the village. It is formed of two stone arches and was used to supply the population with water; some have dated it to Roman times, although it appears to have actually been built in the Muslim period. It forms part of the municipality's heritage routes, within the Sierra Calderona.
