Parish church of Alfara de la Baronia dedicated to Saint Augustine, founded in 1564, located on the plaza de la Iglesia and listed as a Bien de Relevancia Local (a local-level heritage protection designation). In 1799 the church was enlarged with the construction of the transept, the dome and the chapel of the Communion, work commissioned to the architect Cristóbal Bueso, who also redecorated the interior in the Ionic style. Inside it preserves works by the painter Joaquín Oliet Cruella, including a glorification of Saint Augustine, a communion of the Virgin, an Agony in the Garden and several paintings of saints.
