Orange trees of Albalat dels Tarongers

Orange growing constitutes the main economic resource of Albalat dels Tarongers and of much of the El Camp de Morvedre district, to the point that oranges appear as a traditional canting element on the municipality's coat of arms, alluding to its own name; they already appeared on a town council seal from 1877, preserved in the National Historical Archive. The official coat of arms was approved in 1999 and the flag in 2015.
