The patronal festivities of Albalat dels Tarongers (El Camp de Morvedre, Valencia) are held in mid-August and honour in succession the Virgen de Agosto or de la Asunción, San Roque - the municipality's official patron - and the Divina Pastora on the 15th, 16th and 17th. The celebration continues until 24 August, and during the last week of the month the village's bull-running festivities take place, with cow runs, releases of fighting bulls and the traditional toro embolado.
