Castle-palace of Betxí Monument · Betxí, La Plana Baixa, Castellón The castle-palace of Betxí, in the centre of the town, is one of the main heritage elements of the municipality, in the comarca of La Plana Baixa. It has Roman origins and is counted among the buildings of singular importance of the Valencian civil Renaissance, with Mannerist elements in the courtyard and the main doorway, together with Gothic features at the entrance. After years of neglect and urban-development damage, the ensemble still preserves part of the courtyard and the doorway. Photo: Joanbanjo (CC BY-SA 3.0) What to see and do in Betxí
