The parish church of San Bartolomé in Alfondeguilla, an 18th-century temple in the province of Castellón, is listed as a Bien de Relevancia Local (a heritage-protection status for locally significant assets), with identification code 12.06.007-003, under Law 5/2007 of the Generalitat Valenciana. It is a simple temple with a single-nave plan and small dimensions, with side chapels linked to one another; among them stand out the baptismal chapel and the communion chapel, covered by a sail vault. Its façade, also simple, has a bell tower on one side and a single entrance door above which an oculus opens, letting in little light inside, except in the area of the high choir located just behind it. It stands on the main square of the municipality.
