The fiestas of Tírig, in the comarca of L'Alt Maestrat (Castellón), are held every May in honour of Santa Quitèria, patron saint of the town. The main day includes a mass in her honour, after which the coquetes, sweet cakes dedicated to the saint, are handed out among the townspeople, followed by a procession and a popular dance.
