Traiguera summoned to the Valencian Cortes

The town was summoned twice to the Cortes of the kingdom, in 1411 and 1421, a sign of the weight it then had in the Maestrazgo; its sanctuary of the Virgen de la Salud later received the visit of pope Alexander VI and of Philip II.
