Roman milestone of the Via Augusta of La Jana Monument · La Jana, El Baix Maestrat, Castellón Image of La Jana, not of the place itself. The Roman milestone of the Vía Augusta, from the 4th century, is preserved in the Plaza Mayor of La Jana, at the place the Romans knew as Intibilis, a mansio or stopping point on the road itself. Roman coins, tiles and pottery from the same period have also appeared in the town centre, and in that same square a bronze statuette of the god Hercules was found in 1943. siglo IV Photo: Xufanc (CC BY-SA 3.0) What to see and do in La Jana
