The Palau dels Capellans of Canet lo Roig preserves a Gothic chapel that was part of an old mansion-palace of the Montserrat family. Its nave is divided into four bays by pointed arches; the last one, corresponding to the head of the church, is covered by a ribbed vault. On the keystone of this vault the construction date, 1518 (MDXVIII), is engraved, confirming the traditional dating of the building.
