Spring of los Baños de Montanejos

A thermal spring that emerges at the foot of a cliff, with an approximate flow of 6,000 litres per minute and a constant temperature of 25°C, with hypothermal effects all year round. It is listed as a Bien de Relevancia Local (a local-level heritage protection status), within the General Urban Development Plan, under the category of ethnological site of local interest. It is reached from the town of Montanejos by the road towards Puebla de Arenoso, crossing the bridge over the río Mijares; next to the spring there is a parking area, a children's and recreation area, and direct access to the bathing area of the river itself.
