The natural pools of Arañuel are pools formed by the meanders of the río Mijares as it passes through the town (Alto Mijares, Castellón). The three closest to the town centre are the del Puente (Bridge) pool, about 150 metres away, the del Pozo (Well) pool, 200 metres away, and the de los Chorros or los Caños (Chutes/Spouts) pool, 300 metres away. Next to the del Puente pool there is a sports area with five-a-side football and frontennis courts, as well as the Pechina fountain.
