Church of San Miguel de Arañuel

The parish church of San Miguel, on the plaza Mayor of Arañuel, a municipality known for its natural pools on the river Mijares, is a place of worship listed as a Bien de Relevancia Local (a local-level heritage protection category). It is a simple 17th-century building in the Neoclassical style with Corinthian-order features, with a single-nave plan about fifteen metres long, with interconnected side chapels decorated with plasterwork. As a curious detail, the parish centre preserves a monstrance stand also dating from the 17th century.
