Hermitage of San Roque de Arañuel

The Hermitage of San Roque stands in the municipal district of Arañuel, next to the church of San Miguel, and is one of the buildings of architectural interest in the town's religious heritage. In his honour a festival is held every August in two parts: the bajada (descent), at midday, when the saint is received on his way from the hermitage, and the subida (ascent), when the image returns there in a pilgrimage.
