Parish Church of Bolulla Monument · Bolulla, La Marina Baixa, Alicante Image of Bolulla, not of the place itself. Church of Bolulla, from the 18th century, declared a Bien de Relevancia Local (a heritage protection figure for locally significant assets in the Comunitat Valenciana) by the Generalitat Valenciana. Work was completed in 1732, and in 1822 the church was extended, taking up part of the square that had existed in front of the façade. The bell tower had to be restored in 1995, when it was at risk of collapse, and in 2015, on the initiative of the parish priest Francisco Javier Rodríguez, the interior was restored, recovering the original decoration of the vaults and arches.
