The parish church of San Juan Bautista de Quatretondeta, dating from the 17th century, stands in this small municipality in the comarca of El Comtat, hemmed into the Seta valley among the crags and peaks of the Serrella. The church was annexed for years to the parish of Balones, from which it was not made independent until 1786.
