The patron saint festivities of Planes are held in early October, with a pilgrimage that each year gathers close to 500 people in honour of Saint Roch, to whom the Saturday of the main festival is dedicated: in the morning a wake-up parade with both companies takes place, and in the afternoon, the entry of the Moors and Christians. Sunday, dedicated to the Santísimo Cristo de Planes, the town's main patron, includes a morning wake-up call, a procession to the hermitage and a final string of firecrackers and fireworks.
