Anastasio Ochoa Ruiz, born in Zúñiga in 1916 and who died in 1989 on Mount Valderrota, was a charcoal-burner and poacher whose life inspired the film 'Tasio' (1984), the debut feature of Montxo Armendáriz, shot in the charcoal-burning valleys of the Sierra de Lóquiz and restored and screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 2024.
