El secuestro del Olentzero de Areso

Between 2003 and 2005, the Christmas figure of the Olentzero in the square of Areso was repeatedly stolen. Investigations revealed that those responsible were Guardia Civil officers, who damaged the figures; two officers were disciplined and transferred.
