A reddish concrete building designed by Francisco Javier Sáenz de Oiza in the concejo of Alzuza, inaugurated on 8 May 2003, barely a month after the death of the sculptor Jorge Oteiza, which occurred on 9 April that same year. The museum incorporates the artist's original house-workshop and includes a collection of around 1,700 sculptures and 2,000 pieces of experimental work.
