Sierra del Perdón

A mountain range also called Erreniega, 1,039 meters high, about 10 km south of Pamplona, which extends over the territories of Cizur, Galar, Echarri, Belascoáin and Legarda. Since 1994 it has hosted a wind farm which by 2008 had some 40 turbines 40 meters high, the first in Navarre. The Camino de Santiago crosses it at its highest pass, at 770 meters, before descending toward Uterga and the Valdizarbe valley.
