The bridge over the Bidasoa, built in 1545 at the confluence of the Ezpelura and Ezkurra streams, replaced an earlier wooden footbridge. On Calle Mercaderes stands a 15th-century Gothic house with a pointed-arch doorway of eleven voussoirs decorated with pomegranate motifs.
