Dehesa of Moncalvillo

Woodland of public utility covering 1,348 hectares of Mediterranean holm oak and juniper at the foot of the Cerro de San Pedro. It has belonged to the town council since 1459, when the Mendoza family ceded it on condition that it never be divided or sold, and today it is part of Natura 2000.
