Cabeza Mediana hill Nature · Moralzarzal, Cuenca del Guadarrama, Madrid An isolated hill at the foot of the southern slope of the sierra de Guadarrama, to which it belongs geologically although separated from it by a plain; its municipal area is shared between Alpedrete, Moralzarzal and Collado Mediano. It reaches 1,331 metres in altitude and is crowned by an old optical telegraph tower, which has also earned it the names cerro del Telégrafo or cerro del Cañal, although other heights in the range, such as the one at the Puerto de Navacerrada or the one at Rascafría, share one or another of these same names without being the same place.
