The first council of Sevilla la Nueva

Historical milestone · Sevilla la Nueva, Comarca Sur, Madrid

Image of Sevilla la Nueva, not of the place itself.

The residents constituted their first town council and elected mayors of their own. The lawsuits with the Count of Chinchón and with Brunete forced them to redo the distribution of lots and to repeat the election on 14 April 1554.
