Mountain range of Pàndols Nature · Corbera d'Ebre, Terra Alta, Tarragona The Serra de Pàndols is a limestone sierra in the Terra Alta (Tarragona) forming part of the Prelitoral range: steep and cut by deep ravines, it extends between the municipalities of Gandesa and el Pinell de Brai. Its highest point is the Puig Cavaller, at 706.2 metres. It was the scene of fighting in the Battle of the Ebro in 1938: the so-called cota 705, at Punta Alta, was a key position for dominating the whole sierra, and today a monument commemorates the massacre of Pàndols. It is protected within the Serres de Pàndols-Cavalls natural area. Photo: Xufanc (CC BY-SA 3.0) What to see and do in Corbera d'Ebre
