Tower of Cal Xacó Monument · Creixell, Tarragonès, Tarragona The Torre de Cal Xacó is a Gothic work in Creixell, from the 14th century, with a square plan and about 10 metres in height, which formed part of the medieval defensive wall, at the western end of the town. It does not preserve its original crowning, replaced by a modern roof, though its windows are original; today it has houses attached to it. Together with the castle and the towers of Ca la Miquelina and Cal Jeroni, it was declared Bien Cultural de Interés Nacional (Catalonia's highest level of heritage protection) in 2009, within the group of military architecture of Creixell.
