Bridge of les Caixes Monument · Constantí, Tarragonès, Tarragona Despite the name "bridge", this is actually an aqueduct of Roman origin, heavily renovated in medieval times, in the Barranc de la Ferrerota; it is about sixty meters long with three spans -one pointed arch and two round arches- through which passed a stream and the old road to Montblanc. Its Roman origin was discovered in 2008, when part of the medieval bridge collapsed, and it is linked to the nearby Roman villa of Centcelles; today it forms part of the Séquia dels Molins and still carries water. A locally protected cultural asset (Bien Cultural d'Interès Local). Photo: Angela Llop (CC BY-SA 2.0) What to see and do in Constantí
