Wall of Constantí Monument · Constantí, Tarragonès, Tarragona Wall documented since 1220, though it could be earlier, reinforced and restored in the 14th century: begun in 1363, it was completed between 1387 and 1388 by order of Joan I. It had an oval perimeter of about 910 meters, with twelve watchtowers and three gates; many houses of the old walled village were built making use of the wall itself. A stretch with a restored tower survives on Carrer de Sant Pere. A Bien Cultural de Interés Nacional (Catalonia's top heritage-protection category).
