Museum of el Ferrocarril de Móra la Nova Monument · Móra la Nova, Ribera d'Ebre, Tarragona It occupies the former steam locomotive depot, the most important in Spain, which in 1958 employed as many as a thousand people. Created from 2001 onwards by Jordi Sasplugas and a group of enthusiasts, and incorporated into the mNACTEC in 2014, it preserves locomotives such as the Bonita and the Mikado, among them the 241F-2238, the only surviving example of the type that hauled the great express trains between Barcelona and Madrid in the 1950s and 1960s, and a 23-metre turntable installed in 2010. Visitors can also see the station's large mechanical control panel, built in 1928 by the American company General Railway Signal and in use until 1983, as well as a steam-hauled tourist train that runs through the Costa Daurada and the inland comarques.
