Winemaking tradition of Garcia, in the Ribera d'Ebre, where the cultivation of the vine, introduced around the mid-17th century, is now predominant in the municipality. The grapes are processed at the local agricultural cooperative under the Tarragona designation of origin, with the Ribera d'Ebre sub-designation. Alongside wine, the cooperative also produces oil; in the summer of 2015 it opened an agrobotiga where both products are sold, within an agricultural economy that has traditionally exported wine, oil and almonds along the Ebro.
