Wine cooperativism of the Priorat

After phylloxera and the fall in prices, the winegrowers grouped into agricultural unions that raised collective wineries in the first decades of the 20th century, such as that of Masroig in 1917. These cooperatives sustained the comarca's vines for almost a hundred years.
