Towers of the Wall of Sant Rafel

Remains of the medieval wall of la Selva del Camp, in the Baix Camp. They form part of the walled precinct that protected the town, reinforced in 1363 by order of King Peter the Ceremonious. Of that medieval defensive system only fragments such as these towers survive today, witnesses to the fortified perimeter that once surrounded the urban centre.
