The church of Santa Magdalena de la Masó (Alt Camp, Tarragona), located on Mayor Street, is in Neo-Romanesque style; construction began in the late 19th century and finished in 1890. It has a Latin-cross floor plan with three naves and four bays, and a dome 12 metres in diameter topped on the outside by an octagonal cimborio. The bell tower, separate from the body of the church, is earlier, dating from around 1817: it belonged to a previous building that was already a Baroque adaptation of an even earlier structure. The symmetrical façade has a round-arched doorway decorated with Lombard arcading. The parish belongs to the Archdiocese of Tarragona and is listed as a bien de interés cultural local (a municipal-level heritage designation).
