Castle of Selmella Monument · el Pont d'Armentera, Alt Camp, Tarragona A border castle of the Hispanic March situated atop the Selmella hill, north of the municipality of Pont d'Armentera (Alt Camp), dated to the late 10th or early 11th century. It stands a few metres from the old church of Sant Llorenç de Selmella, in the abandoned village of the same name, of which today only piled stones remain. The church, by contrast, still has its walls, apse, bell tower and part of the nave's vault standing, with an access door with a semicircular arch and large voussoirs.
