Landscape of the Bausen Valley Nature · Bausen, Val d'Aran, Lleida Image of Bausen, not of the place itself. The Atlantic slope of the Bausen valley, at the western end of the Val d'Aran, is watered by the Bausen river, a tributary of the Garonne, amid fir and beech forests over granite rock and Silurian outcrops. In the higher areas there are small ponds, and the most notable peak is the Tuc d'Angost, at 2,130 metres. Photo: Viquipèdia / Wikimedia Commons (CC BY-SA) What to see and do in Bausen
