Church of Sant Llorenç de Morunys Monument · Sant Llorenç de Morunys, Solsonès, Lleida A church whose current building began in 1019, when by order of the bishop of Seu d'Urgell the Benedictine rule was established there, over an earlier temple already documented in 910. The old monastery, around which the so-called carrer de l'Església formed, became the parish church of Sant Llorenç de Morunys following the charter of Franquícies granted to the town on 14 May 1297. The temple preserves an organ and the chapel of the Mare de Déu dels Colls, with 16th- and 18th-century alterations. Photo: Pitxiquin (CC BY-SA 4.0) What to see and do in Sant Llorenç de Morunys
