The apparition of El Miracle

On 3 August 1458, in the middle of a plague epidemic, two shepherds from the farmstead of la Cirosa said they had seen the Virgin in the meadow of Bassadòria, in the district of Riner. From that account was born one of the great sanctuaries of the Catalan interior.
