Tower or Castle of Peracamps Monument · Llobera, Solsonès, Lleida A rectangular tower raised on a hill overlooking the farmland and farmhouses of the valley, controlling the passage toward the Torre de Vallferosa. Documented since 1042, when the will of Bonfill, lord of Peracamps, left it to his wife Amaltruda; it later passed to his son Arnau, who in 1084 ceded half the castle and the church to the canonry of Santa Maria de la Seu d'Urgell, and in 1447 the castle and the barony were bought by the confraternity of Sant Llorenç de Morunys, a lordship that lasted until around 1837. Partly demolished by royal order after the War of the Spanish Succession (1716), today only the west wall face is well preserved, with walls that taper from 10 cm on the first floor to about 30 on the second. A Bien Cultural de Interés Nacional (Catalonia's highest level of heritage protection). Photo: PCB75 (CC BY-SA 3.0 es) What to see and do in Llobera
