Castle of Montpol Monument · Lladurs, Solsonès, Lleida A castle documented since 1076, of which today only a few stones scattered among the pine needles survive, atop the Roca de Montpol, next to the remains of the Romanesque church of Sant Miquel de Montpol. Of the latter there barely remains a wall of roughly dressed, aligned ashlar, hinting at a round apse. The complex is declared a Bien Cultural de Interés Nacional (Catalonia's highest level of heritage protection). Photo: Isidre blanc (CC BY-SA 4.0) What to see and do in Lladurs
