Tower of la Vila Monument · la Coma i la Pedra, Solsonès, Lleida The Torre de la Vila is a fortified Gothic house in the municipality of la Coma i la Pedra, in the Solsonès, included in the Inventory of the Architectural Heritage of Catalonia. It stands among the pastures of the southern slope of the Roques del Minguell; it is reached on foot, over 1.7 kilometres, along a track closed to traffic that branches off the LV-4012 road. A former turris or fortified farmhouse of the 12th-13th centuries, it has a ground floor for livestock and three storeys used as dwelling, hayloft and granary. Its ruins occupy the site of the so-called Torre dels Moros, close to a manor house that belonged to the monastery of Sant Llorenç de Morunys. It is declared a Bien Cultural de Interés Nacional (Catalonia's highest level of heritage protection). Photo: Isidre blanc (CC BY-SA 3.0) What to see and do in la Coma i la Pedra
