Castle of Montornès de Segarra Monument · Montornès de Segarra, Segarra, Lleida Ruins atop the elongated hill on which the village sits, next to the parish church: a split wall of stone and mortar of considerable thickness that shows its defensive function. Documented since Ramon Miró's will of 1079, in 1133 it passed to the Cervera family; in 1181 Alfonso el Casto donated it to the Templars, and in the early 14th century, after their suppression, to the Hospitallers.
