In Linyola, the cassola de tros gives its name to the festa de la Cassola, which opens the village's festa major, held in May. The traditional stew is cooked for four or five hours with butifarra sausage, pork fat, ribs and snails, and is one of the emblematic dishes of the Pla d'Urgell.
